Metsker tours signature programs in SM Schools -- On November 6, several state legislators visited the Shawnee Mission School District to meet staff and students in the district's signature programs. The tour, guided by Marjorie Kaplan and Leigh Anne Neal, provided legislators the opportunity to experience education first hand. The legislators visited the Chinese and pre-engineering programs at SM South, the filmmaking class and recording studio at Broadmoor, the culinary education facility at Broadmoor, and the biotechnology lab at SM West.
